Once again, I taught Relief Society. I fretted most of the month over the topic---Holy Ghost. It is so basic and only 2 pages in the lesson manual. Lucky for me, the final week before the lesson, I had some help from people and experiences throughout the week. I guess I should be patient and know that "it will come".
I started with "Name that Tune" with a few primary songs and hymns. I following with "word scramble" with words that described the attributes of the Holy Ghost. I covered some of the concepts in the lesson, shared some experiences and stories and was even prompted in the lesson to share something---which I told the sisters "I was prompted". I invited the women to share their experiences with the Holy Ghost as well. I ended with my testimony of the Holy Ghost.
I reminded myself that I often get what I "focus on". I pondered that I could be more faithful in focusing on the power of the Holy Ghost in my life for the good of self and others. I guess that is why I go to church, to continue to learn and be reminded.
