STAKE RS ACTIVITY

Saturday was the Stake RS activity. I was not feeling well, but decided to for for the opening speaker and ended up staying for the morning and enjoying a brief lunch. I was sad that I didn't have time to stay and visit with friends---something that I don't often have time to do.

The theme was Deanna Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arts. The speaker inspired me to be better and spoke about being a mother and wife and keeping traditions and creating a life for your family.

Marci and I attended a class on Canning and Food Storage. My original thought on attending classes was---I don't need to learn anything else, but Marci decided she wanted to attend, so we did. I was glad to learn and share ideas. When attend an activity, I am usually impressed with reaching out to people that I seldom have time for.
