I celebrated BirthMother's Day at the office on Saturday. Fortunately, I did not have to do most of the work. We had a Spa theme and a brunch for 22 women that attended.
After the celebration, I walked to McClendon's and bought myself a hanging fuchsia basket. On Sunday, I was treated to a bouquet of lillies and red roses from Dan and Marci as well as a case of diet Coke. Larry surprised me with a planted flower container for the back and a candy bar. Jay's floral arrangement arrived on Tuesday, which I continue to enjoy.
Larry and I drove to Woodland to enjoy the Lilac Festival. Although it was a 2 1/2 hour drive, I enjoyed the lovely weather and the garden. I took plenty of photo and enjoyed walking in the warmth. We were delayed on the way home due to an accident, but the relaxation was worth the time.
With the warmer weather at home and a little less rain, we are spending most of our free time in the yard pulling weeds.
